Grandpa raised four children with his carpentry skills. Although life was tough, the whole family lives a happy life. However, when Grandpa could finally retire and enjoy life better, he had a stroke. A few years later, two grandchildren who went through Grandpa’s bedridden time commemorate him in an unusual way.

About the “Kids as Directors” Project

In order to enhance education in imaging and let children experience the process of video production, TICFF (Taiwan International Children’s Film Festival) founded the “Kids as Directors” workshop with the idea of “Fun Creating & Easy Shooting.” It’s open to teachers and students from junior high school and elementary school in Taiwan. The program selects ten teams to learn, play and tell their dreams and viewpoints. Their work and thoughts will be screened under the “Kids as Directors – Taiwan” part of the program during the festival.
