Dropping out of school at 15 to become a competitive gamer, AK is a common name in the winner circle. Even though he gets a monthly salary along with award money, he spends it on his family. He needs to support his mentally ill mom, his dad who became depressive from taking care of his mom, and his brother who goes to school while working part-time.
Top competitive gamers retire at age 25 at the latest. AK might be faced with no money for school and no skills to find a job. His family might also break apart if he loses his income. With such heavy burdens on his shoulders, the tension at home and an unpredictable future, AK shows surprising optimism for someone his age.
